If there’s one thing about M&K, it’s that John sure as hell knows how to cook up some fantastic waxes!
Today I have prepared my treasured M135i as a show car. This has been in conjunction with other products but mainly the use of M&K
The paint was polished with Menzerna Compounds and Forced Rotation Polisher.
I first applied pure by hand and removed. I then followed with Diamond Seal which again is a doddle to use and smells great! Now we start seeing some more results. I then apply 1 Layer of Le Mans as suggested by John in straight lines with a MF applicator dampened with QD. After 30 mins I removed and added another layer an hour later. I completed a final wipe down with QD after another hour cure time. The results are nothing short of phenomenal! Super deep and extremely wet with unparalleled gloss and reflections . Le Mans is a please to work with on and off and the smell is so addictive I cannot stop using it. Absolutely Fantastic. Well done John!
I received this as a 100ml sample with a previous order. As I was wanting to redo my wife's bonnet, I cleaned it all down and applied a coat of Titan early in the morning before applying Le Mans later in the afternoon. On opening the tin you are greeted with a very pleasant smell. I applied this over Titan and it was extremely easy to put on a thin layer, I covered the entire bonnet and when looking at the tin, it looked like it hadn't been used. Left it on the car for a good hour before going to buff off and the haze wiped off with the gentlest of effort leaving a very shinny bonnet underneath. Very pleased with the result. Not the best image as its not direct from my phone (it's via FB) but I think it shows up the shine and reflection nicely.
Although I'd recently purchased and applied Prive, I couldn't resist a pot of Le Mans for the collection.
I'm glad I did as this wax was an absolute pleasure to use. As with all Mitchell & King waxes, a little goes a long way, so a nice thin layer was all that was needed and after letting it cure for 30 minutes, it buffed off like a dream.
I'd prepared the paint with Pure first, followed by a base coat Titan and the finish really is amazing.
Extremely wet and very glossy, but also allowing the flake in the paint to pop as well, a lovely wax!
The ease with which this Le Mans wax goes on and subsequently buffs off tells you it is a quality product. A little does indeed go a long way and with a very good wet look.
