I bought a selection of waxes to try out and was detailing my friends Porsche 911 996 carrera 2 and he chose the octane wax as he is subscribed to the magazine and preferred the pleasant citrus scent over the others so was perfect for the job. Car was washed, decontaminated, hand polished using pure on a microfibre pad and then the octane applied to the whole car and left for around half an hour to cure. The wax was an absolute pleasure to use, went on easily, even thin layers and spread over each panel with no issues. Once it had cured I removed the wax using an Olympian mf towel lightly misted with m&k qd and buffed off extremely easily with no pressure or hard rubbing.
The finish it left was incredible, lovely deep rich gloss. Very impressed
Included in mystery box. I tried using it, but I personally like it the most because of its gloss.
It makes more deep shine and gloss.
but little bit heavier than other waxes when wipe it up.
Nice color glass jar.
The Octane wax is brilliant, it’s got excellent longetivity and easily lasts 4months, it’s a really hardy wax.
Despite the longevity it’s still a really easy wax to apply - as with all Mitchell and King waxes!
Super glossy but still shows up the flakes in the metallic paint!
I bought Octane as a try out wax,i wasnt ready for this kind of a treat.
The application:its super easy, maybe the easiest application of many waxes i worked before, you can go over the whole car and then buff.
Its an oily wax,i love it,its really pop out the flake out of the paint,it looks very glossy but warm.
Im very impressed from this wax.
