The Story

Ivory started life as a request by the owner of a Ferrari 575 GTB, with a special edition Red, purposely darker than the typical Rosso Corsa and also with more metallic flake and depth. This 575 GTB was the first of its type in the UK and was prepared by our Edinburgh Detailer, the first time the car would be viewed by the owner would be after the preparation of the car and wearing the new wax!

The Blend

We started Ivory with a very specific brief and the excitement of working on the first 575 GTB in the UK! The Red was slightly darker than the usual Rosso Corsa and has a lovely metallic flake through it. Most of our research was done via media packs as the car hadn't hit our shores, thankfully due to the high-quality images, we could understand the beauty of this paint! Not letting the excitement lead our decisions, we opted for a very unique enclosure for the LTD Edition jar, in the form of a Crystal Swarovski jar, which you can still buy to this day!

This particular paint requires a wax with fantastic clarity and with no change to the colour of the paint.

Ivory is as exotic in person as it sounds by name. Specifically developed using expensive, tropical ingredients, hand-harvested from highly fertile grounds.

Ivory is perfect for those with both Metallic and Solid paint and is suitable for all paint finishes except for Matte.

Paisley

My CLA received a makeover with this stunning wax. Glossy/wet look but with a little warm glow especially as the light fades seems to be the result on the dark blue metallic paint. Used Pure, Titan then 2 coats of Paisley wax (24 hours apart) allowing each to cure for about an hour. Easy to apply and remove - a little goes a long way. Got a few plans as to what waxes I'll try on my cars come the spring/summer. There is nothing to compare to M&K products. Very happy customer.

Le Mans

My wife's 10 year old VW Polo looks great after being worked on with Pure, Titan and 2 coats of Le Mans wax (24 hours apart). Exterior plastics done with Trim. All so easy to apply and remove. Both my wife and I so pleased with the results. Very impressive products.

Glasgow

Found M&K by chance after my usual wax was no longer available and so pleased I did - after using M&K products I won't use anything else. Watched John's videos which were very helpful, but I was a bit sceptical about how easy they seemed to be to use but I was wrong - they really are as easy as John makes it look. My 35 year old 205GTI was done with Pure, followed by Cloak to add a bit extra gloss & try to enhance the ageing paint as much as possible. followed that with Titan then 2 coats of Glasgow wax (24 hours apart). Exterior plastics done with Trim. When I was finishing up a lady walked past and said the car looked like it sparkled - a compliment to your products. So pleased with the result.

Had this a while & today used for first time absolutely beautiful wax to work work with customer was amazed how nice the paint looked 👌

Must have

The weather has meant I've not been able to get all stages done in one go. Managed a decon, clay ands applications of Pure and Titan a couple of weeks back. Since then not able to wax so instead in a break in the weather, I decided to wash when CERA which added gloss and protection then followed up when this bad boy, Endurance. Applied with a new MF towel primed slightly when QD. Did the whole case then waited for the cure as the weather was damp and cold. About 15 minutes. Buffed the car and not only did the depth of colour pop but there was fabulous beading later when it rained. Definitely need this in your armoury. Now satisfied in the short to medium term art least that my youngest's BMW will be protected for three winter. ENDURANCE is a winner!
